Festa del Barbarossa

San Quirico d’Orcia dresses up for lovers of the Middle Age with the Festa del Barbarossa. The program remembers  the emperor's descent to Rome and a stop in San Quirico d’Orcia.

The places where re-enactments will be held is Palazzo Chigi Zondadari, the Horti Leonini and other buildings in the historical center of San Quirico d’Orcia. The host during the days of the event will be the good cuisine of the local tradition, proposed in the charming taverns of the center. The Barbarossa Festival is organized by the Municipality of San Quirico d’Orcia in collaboration with the many volunteers of the Tuscan village.
