Siena
The Palio di Siena is a historical event famous all over the world for the passion of its participants. The inhabitants of Siena belong to Contradas (town’s districts) that compete for the Palio on July 2nd and August 16th every year. In the days preceding the Palio you will be able to assist to rituals and traditions that culminate on the day of the event, with a horse race in the majestic Piazza del Campo.
