Frantoi Aperti - Olive oil mills open in Umbria

Frantoi Aperti means Olive oil mills are open. It is an event that celebrates the new season's olive oil since 1997. More than a month dedicated to tastings, traditions, shows and culture among the medieval towns in Umbria – the greenest region of Italy.

More than tasting! Walks, concerts and olive picking. During the event, you may experience walks through ancient olive groves, visits to medieval castles, small romantic churches and historic palaces.

Olive oil mills throughout Umbria will open their doors to visitors all along.

Come and experience olive pressing and new season’s olive oil tasting together with the olive oil producers who will welcome you with warmth, conveying their love for their land, most probably in front of the fire place.
